Even in organizations whose members adhere to extremely high standards, there are those who distinguish themselves as being on the leading edge of education, training, innovation, leadership and overall professionalism. Among those, there is a select few that have the courage and initiative not only to take the first step, but to take the first step first! 

The International Association for Property and Evidence is proud to announce those Property and Evidence Professionals who have leapt upon the opportunity to demonstrate their professionalism through certification. The names listed below are those IAPE members whose initiative has allowed them to be among the first of their peers to become Certified Property and Evidence Specialists. If you want to join them, see the CPES Information Sheet and Application on pages 10 and 11 of this issue of The Evidence Log©. 

Among all of the CPES awardees to come, this select group will be known as Charter Awardees. IAPE will extend the Charter Awardee designation to all members who complete their certification on or before December 31, 2003. As the list of CPES awardees grows in years to come, all will know that those IAPE members earning their CPES certification in 2003 were not only qualified, but were the leaders in the property and evidence certification movement.
