We also want to welcome those new CPES's who started off the new year right with certification during the first part of2004. We are pleased to welcome the new Certified Property and Evidence Specialists who are listed on page 27. We continue to be thrilled as we see the CPES certification becoming even more well-known as the standard of property and evidence professionals. Several CPES's have reported feeling much more comfortable testifying in court when they can include "Certified Property and Evidence Specialist" during their statement of qualifications. We also have seen some job bulletins listing CPES status as a "desired qualification," and Allegheny County (PA) now requires that newly hired Property Officers complete training and CPES certification during their first year of employment. If you are now a Certified Property and Evidence Specialist, how are you taking advantage of your new status?
