I've got something you don't have!!!

Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office, S.C. - A Dog Sexual Assault Kit. A 17 year old boy was charged with having sexual relations with his neighbor's dog. A veterinarian conducted an examination and provided the swabs for the evidence in the sexual assault kit.

Lexington County Sheriff's Dept., S.C. - A Telephone. A local mattress store called the Sheriff's Department to report that they were about to replace a mattress in a local hotel and that there was an unusual amount of blood found on the old mattress and in the room. When deputies investigated, there was a pool of blood on the floor and on other objects in the hotel room. Investigators located the person who had been in the room and after an interview learned that the person had tried 'sexually gratifying' himself using several objects in the room; one of which was the telephone. Crime Scene booked the bloody phone into the Property Room under the category of "Illegal Use of a Telephone."

Minneapolis, MN PD - A severed finger. Thanks to Kerstin Hammarberg for this story:

"In September 2006 there was a robbery attempt. The suspects broke into an apartment and threatened the occupants with a fake gun. On the wall was a decorative Samurai sword. One of the victims took the sword and started to swing it around at the suspects. One suspect lost a finger in the brawl. All involved survived. The suspect fled and left his finger at the scene of the crime, only later to be arrested at the hospital ER. The Crime Lab Unit delivered the partial finger (about % of it) to us as evidence! It was immediately fingerprinted and then stored in our freezer. It will be interesting if they ask for it for court ... would you raise your right hand and swear to tell the truth ... "

Rochester, MN - An "Armed K-9 Property Room Guard". Thanks to Michelle Ness for the photos, as well as the story behind them.
